Inscribed Armenian Rugs
Donated to the Armenian Library and Museum in Watertown, Massachusetts,
this collection was created by Arthur T. Gregorian to demonstrate that
Armenians were indeed rug weavers. Included are many examples with Christian
icons and Armenian inscriptions.
Antique Oriental Rugs of the Silk Route
from the Gregorian Collection
Exhibited in various configurations in museums throughout the country,
this collection illustrates the wide range of influences in play in oriental
rug art. Examples include rugs from Turkey, the Caucasus, China, Central
Asia and Iran.

has been viewed by thousands of visitors and lovers of oriental rug art.
